The JV Soccer Team played a home game on the first snowy day of the year! The weather alternated between flurries, clouds, and a bit of sunshine while they battled a great team from Holderness. While the other team capitalized on many scoring opportunities, KUA played hard to the very end. The offense showed off their passing skills that they've been developing over the course of the season, with Ada, Ella, and Jitzelin making smart plays to move the ball up the field. Laney used her speed to receive a pass and get by a defender to score an impressive goal in the first half! Join us for our final games of the season; we are away this Saturday (Proctor) and next Saturday (New Hampton), and we're playing White Mountain School at home this Wednesday. Go Wildcats!
KUA traveled to St. Paul's School (SPS) and played under very hot conditions this Wednesday. The team came under early pressure from SPS but held their offense back. Goalkeeper Nyasia Caban made several great saves to keep the game scoreless. Eventually, SPS' high-pressure attacks broke through and scored. Ella Dahlstrom had a great game sending the ball up the wings for offensive plays. Special shout-out to Tyanna Medina who joined the roster from Strength and was a force on offense. Mia Wang and Lucy Goldberg made great contributions on defense. Ultimately, SPS scored a second goal, but the Wildcat defense held their attacks at bay, with Cheyenne Graham taking over as goalie in the second half and keeping the score to 0-2 at the end. Join us this Friday at Holderness School at 5:15 pm.
