New and returning faculty professional development activities ran a remarkable gamut of programs this summer including the Exeter Math Teacher’s Training by Jon Hastings, Sam Scrivani, and Beth Gilmartin, and the St. Johnsbury Advanced Placement Workshops by Andy Kaplan (calculus), Sean McDonough (computer science), Murray Dewdney (AP Physics).

Derek Gueldenzoph - extensive training in data analytics through the Wharton School
Ursi Herfort - Landmark College workshop in executive function of the brain
Billy Ayotte - Design thinking from IDEO
Kay McCabe and Dustin Meltzer - Maine Media Workshops: photography, social media marketing, and video production
Darrell Beaupre - Post and beam building traditions in New England
Stephen Rogers - GAIL conference in Shanghai
Maura Doyle – TABS Admission Bootcamp
Sarah Roberts – Completed MA degree at Middlebury College’s Breadloaf School of English
Phil Montenegro – Worked through the Claremont Makerspace on machining and Photoshop, studied sculpture with a master artist
Joshua Hunnewell and Alexis Liston– Studied towards their Master’s degrees at Oxford, England
Coley Hapeman – Studies last spring with Russ Harris on ACT as a therapy practice
Matt Underhill – Received certification as a trainer and coaching specialist
Jenny Blue - Participated as an Athenamentor developing a memory bank of lessons for Humanities
Anne Peterson - StudiedUniversal Design in teaching and learning
