KUA Loses a Hard Fought Game to NMH

It was a great day for a field hockey game as the Wildcats traveled down to Northfield Mount Hermon to take on the Hoggers. It was a very competitive and evenly matched game. The Wildcats came out strong putting up the first goal of the game halfway through the 1st. Carissa carried the ball into the circle and sent an excellent cross past the NMH goalie that Hailey deflected into the net. NMH put a lot of pressure on KUA's defense, but the Wildcats were able to hold them off through 1st half. During the second half, the Hoggers came out strong and tied the game about 15minutes in. Wildcats created many scoring opportunities but could not get the ball past the NMH defense and goalie. Unfortunately for the Wildcats the Hoggers kept the pressure and were able to score two more unanswered goals to end the game 3-1.
KUA is now 2-2 on the season and will host Dexter-Southfield on Saturday, September 28th at 1:30 pm.
