Overtime again ...

The Wildcats stormed out to an early lead, scoring two goals in the first shift, but NMH battled back, ultimately going ahead 4 – 3 after two periods. Cole Gueldenzoph scored in the third to tie the game, and Andrew Hadlock scored his second of the night to put the Wildcats ahead again, but NMH evened things up, and the two teams went into a 3 on 3 overtime period. KUA controlled the puck for virtually the entire first shift, but a turnover on the blue line leads to a NMH breakaway, and the game ended at 6-5. Liam McKewan was the points leader (G, 2A), followed by Andrew Hadlock (2G), Anthony Solt (1G, 1A), Cole Gueldenzoph (1G), Kobi Lees (1A), and Gabe Laszewski (1A). Literally half of the team’s games so far this season have gone to overtime, and our record there is 2 – 2.
