Wildcats defeat Lakes Region foe

Playing their first game in over a week, the Wildcats got on a roll and were too much for the Hornets of Proctor. Sean Donoghue and Jaiden Moriello each scored twice in the first period to start things off. Other goal scorers were Cole Gueldenzoph, AJ Noel, Owen Lewis, and Matt Gardner (2). Trey Mason, in goal for the Wildcats, made several big saves allowing only one goal, and Tristan Black, Andrew Hadlock, Gabe Laszewski, and Kobi Lees were each an effective presence on defense. Patrick and Jacob Hyjek were both strong in the corners, Jon Bruner was an aggressive forechecker, Even Oberton unleashed two powerful slapshots, and Michael Gratz pulled off a 360-degree spin as he took the puck around a Proctor defenseman. With luck, this success will provide the Wildcats with some momentum as they head into two consecutive three-game weeks.
