Wildcats Sweep Opening Weekend

Zach Phillips had three goals and an assist as the Wildcats won their second game of the weekend with a 6-2 victory over Stanstead College on Sunday in Stanstead, QC. Josh Phillips scored the first Wildcat goal of the afternoon early in the first period before Stanstead tied the game at one. However, the tie was short-lived, as Zach Phillips tallied minutes later to give KUA the 2-1 lead after one period. Phillips added his next two goals in the second to secure the natural hat-trick, while Corwith Simmers and Jackson Davies scored the fifth and sixth goals respectively. Goalie Blake McMeniman earned the win in net, stopping 23 of 25 shots.
