Wildcats Top Hotchkiss at Flood-Marr

Corwith Simmers scored two goals while goalie Luca Campo stopped 14 shots as the Wildcats beat Hotchkiss 4-1 in the second day of the Flood-Marr Tournament. KUA held a 1-0 lead after one, as CJ Watroba scored on a rush halfway through the frame. Simmers tallied what would eventually be the game winner early in the second period, but a Hotchkiss goal cut the lead in half heading into the third. In the final period, Zach Phillips scored off a rebound from Lucas Siomos to extend the lead, and Simmers added an empty-netter in the final minute to complete the scoring.
