Wildcats Surrender Lead, Lose to Cushing

In a rematch of last year's New England Championship, the Wildcats battled Cushing Academy, but this time came away on the wrong end, losing 3-2. Despite carrying the play and jumping out to a 2-0 lead early in the second period, KUA could not hold on as Cushing tallied two goals in the middle frame to send the game into the third period tied. KUA controlled the bulk of the play in the third, but Cushing knocked home a rebound with three minutes to play and held on for the win. Goal scorers on the day for the Wildcats were Rowen Sang and CJ Watroba, with Josh Phillips, Caden Barnard, Matthew Ross, and Max Kimelman earning assists.
