Wildcats Lead Early but Fall to Cushing

Five minutes into the game, the Wildcats had a 2-0 lead over Cushing, but could not hang on as the Penguins fought back to take a 4-2 victory on Saturday at Cushing. Xander Boutilier and Zach Phillips scored on two of KUA's first three shots, and the Wildcats held the 2-0 lead until late in the second when Cushing got one back. With the score 2-1 midway through the third, Cushing struck again for the tie before adding two more goals in the waning minutes to secure the win.
