Wildcats Survive the Abbey
KUA survived a long bus ride and a tough and physical Portsmouth Abbey team enroute to a 29-14 win.
Kimball Union survived a tough and physical Abbey team and hung on for a 29-14 victory to run their record to 5-0. Colby Husby led the charge with 2 touchdown runs of 5 and 1 yard. Mike Gerardi threw touchdown passes to Kasim Edebali and Akeem Labitue to pace the winners. Gerardi also connected with Edebali on 2 successful conversion attempts. Other outstanding performers for the Wildcats included Kellan Grenier (4 catches), Ross Jones (1 interception), and Labitue (1 interception).
