Mostly Younger Runners Lead Wildcats to the Win at VA

Many of KUA’s top runners, including the entire girls’ team, were resting for the upcoming championship meets, but that did not stop the Wildcats from taking the first seven places in a tri-meet against the Putney School and the host school, Vermont Academy.  Kodi Alvord won the race in a time of 20:28.  Tommy O’Brien, Zach Hallock, Aaron Mitchell, Josh Weiss, Danny Belback, and Adrian Callies took places 2-7, respectively.  Just about every run this season has helped to improve their times on this hilly course compared to earlier in the season, including whopping three minute improvements from first-year runners Danny Belback and Matt Schlanger.
