The Wildcats Played a Strong Second Half

The Kimball Union Wildcats travelled to Wolfeboro, NH today to play the Brewster Bobcats.  Senior Maura Doyle (Merrimac, MA) scored the first goal of the game by winning the draw control and bringing down the field. The Bobcats answered right back and took control of the game, the Wildcats proceeded to have a tough first half, trailing 4 to 12. 
Kimball Union came out strong in the second half demanding control of the ball and working together in the transitions.  The Wildcats narrowed the score to 13 to 10 but could not manage to tie it up.  Junior Morgan Walsh (Duxbury, MA) scored 4 goals, Doyle, junior Alison Pollard (Meriden, NH) and junior Storm Sideleau (Contoocook, NH) scored two goals a piece and junior Ellie Harrigan (Park City, UT) picked up one goal to round out the KUA goals.   Christine Bouchat-Bonin earned 7 saves in net.
 
The Wildcats are on the road again this Friday night against Lakes Region rival Proctor Academy.
