The KUA Wildcats travelled to Lawrence Academy today and escaped the confines of Stone gymnasium with a one point victory, 53-52. Up one with 5 seconds to play KUA's defense made the stop they needed as Lawrence missed on two quick contested shots as time ran out. Crew Ainge came up big for KUA scoring a game high 21 points hitting four threes in the first half. Eli Frater added 12 points to join him in double figures. The Wildcats struggled to find open shots all night against Lawrence's stingy defense as they were held to 23 second half points. This win pushes KUA's record to 9-2 with their next game at home vs Marianapolis on Friday at 5:15pm. Point totals: Ainge- 21; Gerber- 9; Frater- 12; Sui- 3; Charlie Williams- 3; Rosinski- 3; and Toriola- 2.
