KUA Boys travelled to Vermont Academy today to take on one of the top Class AA teams in New England this year. In the end Vermont came out on top winning 63-54, but not before surviving a scare late in the second half as KUA whittled down a 20 point lead to three, 53-50 with 2:30 left in the game. A couple of missed opportunities for KUA and clutch foul shooting for VA in the end lead to the final result. KUA's Jon Sui hit 4 second half threes to go along with Crew Ainge scoring 16 of his game high 23 points in the second half to spark KUA's run. KUA's record now stands at 9-5 with a busy weekend ahead with Masters and then Wilbraham- Monson coming to town on Friday and Saturday. Point totals: Ainge-23; Gerber –4; Frater- 3; Sui- 15; Rosinski-9.
