Wildcats Win in shootout at Tilton, 20-12.

The KUA boys’ varsity lacrosse team jumped out to a 7-2 first quarter lead on their way to  a 20-12 victory over Tilton Academy. Eight different Wildcats contributed to the scoresheet.  KUA’s Will Harrigan netted six goals while Gavin Black, Kenny Speak, and Eric Megnia  scored three apiece.  Andrew Robertello contributed two goals and Sam Erb and Mike Lombardi each scored one. Lombardi assisted on four goals and Megnia assisted on three. Cam Beecy won 80% of his face offs and assisted on two goals right off the restart.  Robertello won 60% of his draws. Owen Manley picked up six ground balls, many of which led to unsettled transition goals. The Wildcats cleared successively on 90% of their defensive possessions. Jack McCarthy, Vasili Katsarakes, Greg Surgenor, and Parker Hall showcased their stick skills throughout the game.
The freshmen midfield core, including Thomas Samuelson, Chris Adam, Alex Regnery, Sam Erb, and Andrew Robertello controlled the midfield with patient ball control.  Nick Parker recorded eight saves and Alex Lee saved three. 
 
KUA (4-4) travels to Holderness on Saturday for a 2:30pm game.
