KUA beats NHS in Semi of LRLC

KUA hosted a tough and determined New Hampton squad on Friday night in the Lakes Region League Semi-Finals. The game was well played on both sides and both teams were relentless in their pursuit of a victory. New Hampton started the scoring off with a goal about half way through the first period. Ben Finkelstein scored KUA’s first goal of the evening less than thirty seconds later. KUA would start the second period off well with two goals, one coming from Roope Hirvonen and the other from George Sennott. Sennott would score a second goal only a minute and a half later. Bobby Young scored and drew a penalty in dramatic fashion with only twelve seconds left in the second period. KUA would go on to score three more goals. Roope Hirvonen, Mike Lombardi and Bobby Young had the three goals respectively to bring the final to 8 to 2. KUA faces Proctor Academy tomorrow night at home.
