Complete and submit the application through either the Standard Application Online (SAO) or Gateway to Prep. Applications are due February 1 for a decision release date of March 10. We begin accepting applications on a rolling basis after this time.

Nick joined Kimball Union Academy in 2015 as an Associate Director of Admission and the Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse Coach. Before moving to Meriden, NH, Nick spent eleven years working in the Admission Office at Portsmouth Abbey School and one year at Cape Henry Collegiate School.
Nick is from Baltimore, Maryland. He attended Loyola Blakefield where he was the captain of the hockey and lacrosse teams during his senior year. Nick continued his lacrosse career at the University of Notre Dame where he was an accounting major and a goalie on the 1st Notre Dame team to reach the Final Four. After graduating in College in 2003 Nick helped coach Cape Henry Collegiate School to their first-ever state championship. While an assistant at Portsmouth Abbey, the lacrosse team won nine league championships in eleven years and three goaltenders were named U.S. Lacrosse All-Americans. In 2014, Nick earned his Masters’ in Athletic Administration from Ohio University. Nick and his wife Polly live on campus in Rowe House; along with their two daughters Carter and Gracie.
Mattie Ford DiNapoli
Assistant Director of Admission, Alpine Ski Director
Since joining the KUA community in 2021, Mattie has worn many hats, currently serving in the Admissions office and as the Director of Alpine Skiing. A proud Middlebury College graduate with a degree in Economics, Mattie led the women’s Alpine Ski Team as captain and earned All-American honors twice. Mattie, her husband, and their two children enjoy campus life, frequently seen at the dining hall or various school events.
Kate graduated from Wofford College in South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Before college, she attended boarding school in New Jersey, where she developed a passion for education and community living. Now, as an Admissions Counselor at KUA, she is excited to be part of the vibrant campus community and support prospective students through the admissions process. Kate lives on campus in Mikula with her dog, Ella, and coaches JV girls tennis. She is eager to embrace all the opportunities and connections that boarding school life offers.
Cory McClure
Associate Director of Admission, Head Coach Varsity Boys Basketball
Cory McClure joined Kimball Union Academy in the summer of 2019 as an Associate Director of Admission and Boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach. Prior to KUA, Cory enjoyed similar roles at other New England boarding schools for nearly 15 years. His experiences as a classroom teacher, advisor, dorm head, coach, and over a decade working at the collegiate level, gives him a unique perspective to share with families and potential students that are considering Kimball Union Academy. Cory is a graduate of the University of New England and is a native New Englander. He and his wife Destiny and children Max '24, Sylvia '25, and Griffin '28 live on campus and enjoy the school’s diverse community as well as the Greater Upper Valley Region.
With over a decade of experience in the boarding school sector, Destiny serves as Kimball Union Academy’s Manager of Enrollment Operations, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for prospective families and students. Having lived on campus for the past six years with her husband Cory and their 3 children, Max '24, Sylvia '25, and Griffin '28, Destiny is deeply connected to the Kimball Union community and offers valuable insights into campus life. She brings extensive experience from various roles in student life, college counseling, and the head of school’s office. Outside of work, Destiny enjoys traveling, fly fishing with Cory, and exploring all that the Upper Valley has to offer.
