Winter road conditions in the local area can vary greatly. We urge day students and families to use caution and make “safety first” decisions when it comes to winter driving, especially for younger drivers. We ask day parents to assess road conditions in their immediate area, consider local school closings, and, if necessary, keep students home when it is unsafe to drive. If you do decide to keep your student home, please contact the school immediately so we can properly account for each student. Please email Melissa Longacre call 603-469-2000 no later than 8:00 a.m. Regardless of weather, classes will be held for boarding students and any day students or commuting faculty who can safely travel to campus. If weather conditions worsen during a class day, we may make the decision to release day students early. In the event of an early dismissal, we will not release a student until we hear directly from a parent. Parents who decide to pick a student up early or want a student to be released early due to weather should contact Melissa Longacre at 603-469-2000. In severe weather conditions, we can also make accommodations available on campus for students who need to stay overnight.
If the decision is made to release day students early, we will post a notice on the homepage of our website, on the portals, and email a notification.
