Wildcats Roll in Small School Quarterfinals

The Wildcats got two-goal games from four seniors in the quarterfinals of the NEPSAC Small School Tournament to beat Gunnery 8-1 on Wednesday in Meriden. Iain Olsen, Corwith Simmers, CJ Watroba, and Max Kimelman all tallied twice for KUA, which broke a 1-1 tie in the second period with three goals in 2:21 before adding a fourth midway through the period. KUA added three more goals in the final frame. Goalie Blake McMeniman stopped 21 shots for the win. The Wildcats now host St. George's in the semifinals on Saturday in Meriden.
