Brinkman Goal Earns KUA Win in Overtime Against NMH

The KUA Wildcats had an amazing game against NMH on Saturday. It was a neck and neck game and both teams had multiple players earning points for their respective sides. Bethke was a standout with 10 draw controls, six goals and four assists. Daft also led the way in draw controls for KUA with nine and also tallying two assists. Berard locked in four goals and was an overall force offensively. However, it was Brinkman’s clutch goal in overtime that sealed the win For KUA, her third goal of the game in all. 

The defense for KUA was a brick wall against NMH’s quick attackers. Clark held her own in goal with 10 saves. As well, The down low defenders - McClure, Lopez, Boddell, and Fowler-Thorsen were able to adjust as needed to help raise the level of KUA’s game all over the field in order to secure the win.

The Wildcats will next be on the field on Wednesday at home against Brewster at 3:30pm.
