The Kimball Union community elected Brodie '25 and Stella '25 as next year's All-School Presidents as leadership positions for the 2024-2025 year are announced.
Students take an active role in shaping the community at KUA and find leadership opportunities embedded throughout the experience. Each year two all-school presidents are elected by students and faculty to oversee and represent the student body. Their primary responsibilities are to facilitate All School Meeting twice a week and chair the Student Senate.
Stella says that she hopes to foster a culture of courage and resilience within the community. At KUA, Stella is a three-sport varsity athlete and was part of the GAIL cohort that traveled to New Zealand in 2023. "KUA is a place where new beginnings are celebrated, and where students are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and make a positive impact on the world around them," she says.
Brodie who competes with the varsity soccer and freeski teams but found a spot on the stage during the winter musical this year, hopes to ensure that everyone finds a home away from home at KUA and knows they are a valued member of the community. "KUA is not only made special by our NEPSAC titles, our many accolades, or our beautiful campus, it is made special by you all, the people in its community who care for each other."
