Wildcats Sweep Weekend at Exeter Invitational

Goalie Blake McMeniman stopped all 24 shots he faced, and Xander Boutilier scored two goals to help lead the Wildcats to a 4-0 win over Kent School in the second game of the Exeter Invitational Showcase. Boutillier scored on the game's first shot, just 30 seconds in, with Corwith Simmers and CJ Watroba earning assists. Watroba tipped home a Nick Evans one-timer five minutes later, and Boutillier scored his second of the game with three minutes to play in the first period, with Simmers and Watroba again picking up assists. Evans tallied the Wildcats' fourth goal late in the second period, with Boutilier and Caden Barnard assisting on the play. The Wildcats had the territorial advantage on the day as well, firing 48 shots on net.
