Wildcats defeat the Huskies

The Huskies of New Hampton were hobbled by injuries and illness and had literally half as many skaters dressed as the Wildcats. To their credit, they played hard all game long and their goalie made a number of inspired saves, but the Wildcats used four separate forward lines and just wore the Huskies down. Isaac Bliss and Matt Sites each scored late in the second period - Matt Gardner earned the assist on Matt Sites’ goal as he carried the puck the length of the ice before passing it off – and Isaac scored again in the third to pace the Wildcats to a 3 – 0 win in their Lakes Region rematch. Tyler Wenning earned the shutout in the KUA net. The Wildcats have a short break in the schedule before resuming play against Eaglebrook School on Friday the 8th.
