Wildcats down the Penguins

The Wildcats took on a physical Cushing team and opened the game up late to win 4 – 0. Sean Donoghue put KUA on the board early, but the score stayed at 1 – 0 until mid-way through the third period when the Wildcats scored three goals in three minutes. AJ Noel scored first followed by Matt Gardner and Sean earned his second of the night. The Cushing goalie, who had been outstanding all game long, recovered quickly and made several more big saves as the game wound down. Tyler Wenning earned the shutout in net for the Wildcats. Next week features rematches with Proctor, Tilton, and Exeter.
