New Game, New Proctor Lineup, Unfortunate New Result

Kimball Union took to the road for the second time to face Proctor on their turf. After a hard-fought tie at home, KUA hoped to have a better outcome. Unfortunately, Proctor struck three times to carry the game. Nevertheless, KUA did get strong performances from Cho-man Bian and Eric Kim at fullback. They kept their own against a Proctor side that looked bigger and more physical than during the previous game. KUA was hampered by a lack of substitutes as a thin bench meant some starters had to run almost the whole game. Michael Winham played well on the left mid-wing as did Matt as they pressured the ball up field to give KUA a fighting chance. This resulted in a couple of very close shots on goal by Alvaro Campos. Goalkeeper Devon LeBlanc made several good stops despite the overwhelming pressure, otherwise, the score would have been much more lopsided. Sebastian Keen and Angus Spence helped hold down the middle. All of Proctor’s goals came from one player who made his debut against KUA in this second game.
