KUA had a tough game against a very talented NMH squad. The Wildcats showed grit and resilience, but were soon overwhelmed by the NMH team. The first half saw Charles Tong start at fullback as he tried to hold NMH back. The NMH team has been rolling over their opponents, so this was no small task. Jason Cheng had some nice moments as he kept the NMH players on their toes. Nill Charoenrujijin managed to get some close moments in front of the NMH goal, but it was to no avail. Bleyton Hopps-Thompson put his body on the line as he pressured hard from the back, even taking a shot to the face that resulted in him having to leave the field. The boys went off for the half down by four.
The second half was not much different as Aiden Bean and Eric Chung did what they could, but NMH's passing was too much for the KUA sweeper and wing defender. Devon LeBlanc was kept busy as shot after shot came in on him, but he managed some very nice saves to keep the score from getting even worse than it wound up. Nevertheless, three more goals came in for NMH and KUA had to take the loss. The Wildcat third team showed good spirit and heart despite the loss.
