Wildcats Out-dueled in Home Opener

KUA made the most of offensive opportunities and led 2-1 into the second period, before yielding to a strong St. Pauls attack.  Freshman goaltender Hannah French faced a barrage of shots and managed to keep the Wildcats in the hunt until the final horn sounded.  Defensive play by Julia Walton, Lizie and Lena Connors, Jesse Nunan, and Fiona Spence showed a toughness and resilience that will play an integral part in KUA's success in upcoming games.
KUA returns to action on Wednesday, hosting New Hampton.
