GVS Wins on the Road

The Wildcats traveled to Wilbraham & Monson Academy on the Saturday of their long weekend. After a three plus hour bus ride, the team only had 20 minutes to warm up. About halfway into the first half Ava served the ball just in front of the net from the right flank, and Dakoda got her head on it to push the ball in the back of the net putting KUA on the scoreboard. The second half started off a little flat. W&M tied it up after dribbling through our defenders. Only two minutes later, KUA responded after captain Summer drew a foul. Summer took the free kick, and captain Bethany was able to scramble with the goalie and push it in. The girls are looking forward to a few days off and then prepare for two back to back Lakes Region games next week.
