Wildcats Blank Tilton

KUA got two goals from Jackson Davies and the second straight shutout from goalie Blake McMeniman to beat Tilton 6-0 on Saturday in Meriden. KUA took a 1-0 lead into the second period when Nasean Faria scored from the high slot late in the first. The second period saw KUA double the lead when Davies stripped a Tilton defender of the puck at the offensive blueline before skating in alone and beating the goalie over the shoulder with a quick shot. In the third period the Wildcats kept pressing, as Iain Olsen, CJ Watroba, Zach Phillips, and Davies all tallied. Mikael Tisser and Xander Boutilier each had two assists on the afternoon while Bleyton Hopps-Thompson, Josh Phillips, Lucas Siomos, Matthew Ross, Watroba, and Olsen all had helpers as well.
