The Kimball Union Wildcats won their opening game against Dexter School 32-0 in Brookline, Massachusetts.  KUA found the endzone early and often, as Michael Gerardi threw a 45 yard touchdown pass to Kellan Grenier to open the scoring.  Justin Wright scampered 60 yards for the second touchdown of the game.  Gerardi found Omari Mobley wide open for a 20 yard strike to end the first quarter scoring.  Ruben Austin-Schmidt bulled in from 1 yard out and Colby Husby capped the scoring with a 5 yard run.  Husby also had a two point conversion run for the victors.  KUA's defense was stout against an improved Dexter offense.  Akeem Labitue, Ethan Lee, and Husby all had interceptions.  Kasim Edebali and Cyrus Western were both solid contributors from their defense end positions.  Edebali (3 sacks) and Western (1 sack) combined for 4 sacks and many tackles for losses on the day.  KUA returns to action on Pope Field next Saturday at 2:30 against Pomfret School (1-0).
