The Wildcats Fall to the Bobcats: 17-6

Just as the Wildcats scored within the first minute last game, the Bobcats came out and scored early today to set the pace of the game.  After Brewster scored their second goal, junior Storm Sideleau (Contoocook, NH) put Kimball Union on the board with a drive to net. Brewster continued to dominate play while the Wildcats slowed the ball in the midfield and worked hard to double on defense.  Nearing the end of the first half, Sideleau drove to goal picking up defenders as she went and made a textbook pass to senior Kayla Jacobs (Norwich, VT) who quick sticked it to net.  The Wildcats had momentum of the game but Brewster regained it after a time out and the Wildcats never managed to get it back.  Sideleau finished the game with 4 goals and junior Morgan Walsh (Duxbury, MA) and Jacobs tallied 1 each.

The goaltenders had many close shots taken on them today; junior Christine Bouchat-Bonin (Quebec City, Quebec) had 6 saves and junior Amelie Poirier (Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec) had 5 in net.

The Wildcats face the Tilton School on Wednesday in Tilton.
