Kimball Union Academy hosted Holderness school Saturday evening. The game was hard fought and well played. Holderness came out strong and out paced the Wildcats at times through the first period. With the first goal coming from Holderness, George Sennott responded with a goal of his own. Ben Finkelstein and Roope Hirvonen had assists on the play. About midway through the second period Sennott and Pat Shea would assist on Ben Finkelstein’s goal from the blue line. Holderness fired back with a second goal only 4 minutes later to make it two to two. Ben Finkelstein then scored a second goal that was nearly identical to his first. Finkelstein’s goal was assisted by Jack Griffin and Dennis Cesana. 1 minute later, Sennott got his third point and second goal of the evening. The goal was assisted by Dennis Cesana. With 46 seconds left in the second period, Bobby young scored and was assisted by Jack Doherty. George Sennott then topped off the evening by scoring his third goal of the night with assists from Shea and Hirvonen. Holderness then scored one last goal to make the final score 6 to 3. The Wildcats move to 25-3-1 overall and face a strong Proctor squad on Wednesday afternoon.
