In a spectacular conclusion to the season, Kimball Union Academy's JV1 boys' basketball team marked Senior Night with a decisive 61-22 victory over Holderness School. Starting with an all-senior lineup, the Wildcats quickly took control, leading 36-8 at the half and never looking back.
The seniors shone brightly, with all five contributing significantly to the score and accounting for over 70% of the total points. Mikey W. led the team with a stellar 16 points. Matthew F. added 10 points, while Jinoi G. and Charles T. each scored 6 points. Ian P. contributed 5 points, showcasing the depth and skill of the senior class.
Contributions from the underclassmen were also vital to the win. Jason W. '26 scored 7 points, while Adi L. '26 and Eli M. '26 each added 4 points. Cale G. '26 put up 2 points, and Myles B. '27 rounded out the scoring with 1 point.
Ending the season with a 9-6 record, the Wildcats have shown substantial growth and have created lasting memories. In a riveting Lakes Regions JV basketball face-off, Kimball Union Academy’s JV 1 boys basketball team returned to Proctor Academy with a strong game plan that quickly set the pace of the match. After an initial exchange of baskets, KUA dominated the court, establishing a significant 30-15 lead by halftime and ultimately securing a commanding 59-38 victory. The team’s success was driven by a robust defense and an aggressive fast-break offense, which consistently delivered points and kept them in control throughout the game.
